The three elements of the molding process are: time, pressure, and temperature.
The molding temperature is the mold temperature specified during molding. This process parameter determines the heat transfer conditions of the mold to the material in the cavity, and has a decisive influence on the melting, flow and solidification of the material.
The molding pressure is usually expressed by the molding pressure (MPa), that is, the ratio of the total force exerted on the mold by the FRP hydraulic press and the projected area of the mold cavity in the direction of pressure.
Molding time is also called compression molding heat preservation/holding pressure time. It refers to the time that the material is heated and solidified in the mold after the mold is completely closed or after the last time the mold is vented and closed, and the mold is opened.
